U of I offers new journalism camp focused on multimedia
The College of Media at the University of Illinois has a new Journalism camp: PRESS PASS. This multimedia journalism camp for students teaches storytelling skills and how to prepare video news breaks for the 21stCentury. Over the course of this eight-day camp, Emmy Award winning journalism Professor Janice Collins will give students a taste of life in a modern news room and the exciting opportunities for journalism in 2016 and beyond. It runs June 24 thru July 1.
All camps are open to freshman and above, and applications are open now with a deadline of May 30. Scholarships are available.
