Illinois publications, student journalists win honors at JEA/NSPA spring convention
As evidence of their strong showing, Illinois students and advisers returned home from Denver with Yearbook and Magazine Pacemakers, Best of Show honors and Write-Off awards.

Two Illinois student publications won Pacemakers, two received Best of Show honors, and 11 student journalists earned Write-Off awards to highlight the state’s participation in the 2015 National High School Journalism Convention in Denver.
The four-day event, sponsored by the Journalism Education Association and the National Scholastic Press Association, took place Thursday through Sunday. The Illinois publications and students listed below came home with recognition for their work:
