THE AWARD: Each year, the IJEA seeks to honor active or retired scholastic media educators and advisers for special initiative on behalf of scholastic journalism in Illinois. Criteria for award recipients include the following:
PRESENTATION: The award is presented at the annual IJEA awards luncheon at the end of each school year in Springfield.
PAST RECIPIENTS: For a list of previous honorees, click here. Advisers who are members of IJEA are encouraged to submit nominations for this award.
ANNUAL DEADLINE: This form must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. March 15 of the current school year.
