“NSPA Live from Minneapolis”: Illinois students honored at virtual ceremony
April 19, 2020
Illinois student journalists won a number of major awards at “NSPA Live from Minneapolis,” a virtual ceremony held April 17 in lieu of the presentations that would have been made at the canceled Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Nashville.
Winners were announced in the 2019 Yearbook Pacemaker Awards, the 2019 Magazine Pacemaker Awards, the 2020 Online Pacemaker Awards and the 2020 Best of Show.
The Illinois honorees included Glenbrook South High School’s Etruscan, winner of a Pacemaker as one of the country’s best yearbooks for the 2018-19 school year.
In all, Illinois student journalists were recognized with 10 national awards.
Congratulations to all of the winners and their advisers!
