IJEA Board approves new dues structure effective July 1
June 19, 2014
In order to continue providing important services for its membership, the IJEA Board of Directors at its June meeting voted to increase annual membership dues for the first time since its founding in 1988.
Effective July 1, 2014, IJEA membership dues will be $25 per year and will include one free publication contest entry. Advisers will be able to enter either the yearly yearbook or newspaper contest for the price of general membership.
Advisers choosing to enter a second contest will pay the regular $10 contest fee.
The yearbook contest, with a Nov. 14, 2014 entry deadline, will be the first contest under the new fee structure. The entry form is available at: IJEA Yearbook Contest Entry Form
Members can access the 2014-15 membership form to renew their IJEA membership. Remember, joining national Journalism Education Association or renewing your JEA membership through IJEA gives IJEA a $5 rebate since we are an affiliate organization of JEA.
