Annual newspaper contest adds categories

The annual IJEA newspaper contest, with a March 23 deadline, has added five new categories, three to address the growing number of online newspapers in Illinois high schools.

The categories added are headlines, centerspreads, blogging, multimedia packages and overall websites.

All IJEA members may enter their staff’s papers in the contest. Anyone can join IJEA. Click here for a membership form.
