IJEA YEARBOOK CONTEST ENTRY FORM


ADVISERS: Please fill out and submit this online form to enter the 2024 IJEA Yearbook Contest, which is for books that cover the 2023-24 school year. We must receive this form before we can process your yearbook entry.

ENTRY FORM DEADLINE: The 2024 Yearbook Contest Entry Form must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024. Please note that we have moved up our entry form deadline date by one month. Our previous deadline each year had been Nov. 15.

BOOK SUBMISSION DEADLINE: The postmark deadline for submitting your 2023-24 yearbook is Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024. We have moved up our postmark deadline date by one month. Our previous deadline each year had been Nov. 15. By using this earlier deadline, we hope to complete all judging before Thanksgiving.

WHERE TO MAIL YOUR YEARBOOK: Please mail your 2023-24 yearbook (and ONLY your yearbook, not your payment of contest/book return/IJEA membership fees) to IJEA Yearbook Contest, Regina Dominican High School, 701 Locust Road, Wilmette, IL 60091.

CONTEST FEE: A $20 contest fee is required of all participating publications.

RETURN POSTAGE FEE: If you would like your yearbook mailed back to you, please add $5 for postage.

TO PAY THE CONTEST AND RETURN FEES: Please mail your $20 contest fee (and $5 return postage fee if applicable) to Susan Bookless, IJEA Treasurer, 11420 West Chetlain Lane, Galena, IL 61036. Checks should be made payable to the Illinois Journalism Education Association.

IJEA MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT: The IJEA Yearbook Contest is open to IJEA members only.

TO JOIN IJEA: If you are not yet an IJEA member for 2024-25, please complete and submit our online membership form OR our fillable PDF membership form.

TO PAY THE MEMBERSHIP FEE: Please mail your $25 membership fee to Susan Bookless, IJEA Treasurer, 11420 West Chetlain Lane, Galena, IL 61036. Checks should be made payable to the Illinois Journalism Education Association.
