Throughout Illinois, no matter the size of the school or program, yearbook staffs and advisers created wonderful journalism as they told the stories of their 2017-18 school year. In recognition of that work, the IJEA is proud to announce the winners of our 2018 Yearbook Contest!

The National Scholastic Press Association has honored IJEA's long-time executive director with its highest award for journalism educators. Congratulations, Sally!
Ted Land, an Emmy Award-winning reporter and video journalist for KING 5 News in Seattle, will be the keynote speaker at the 2018 IJEA Fall Conference. The event will take place Friday, Sept. 14, in the Illini Union at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
